ACUP Conference Rescheduled
Everyone is scrambling right now as the reality of COVID-19 sets in. Scheduled conferences are trying to lock in new dates at a time when the pandemic will have abated.
Yesterday, ACUP sent the following announcement:
ACUP+ has secured new dates for our 2020 conference with the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lincoln, NE. The new dates will be Sunday, June 28 - Thursday, July 2, 2020. We realize the COVID-19 situation is very uncertain and fluid. We hope in the next several months there will be clarity and containment of this virus.
Your registration for the conference with ACUP+: You will not need to re-register for the new the dates, all existing registrations will be moved and honored. If you need to cancel due to schedule conflicts please contact Jennifer at ACUP+.
Your booked hotel room: You must cancel your existing hotel reservation. Refer to your reservation confirmation for the hotel’s room cancellation policy to avoid unwanted credit card charges. Call the Embassy Suites at 402-474-1111. A new reservation portal for room reservation with the new dates will be up on the website very soon.
Your airline ticket: Most major airlines will change your dates of travel, some may charge a change fee but many at this time are waiving that fee. Check with your airline for options.
We appreciate your support as we all move through the current situation as it represents a significant interruption of normal business practice nationally as well as internationally. ACUP+ is a community and in these difficult times we need to come together in the full spirit of the phrase, “support one another”. We hope you will be able to join us in person in June.
