On Sunday, April 14, higher-ed and K-12 in-plant managers will get together in Rochester, New York, for the Association of College and University Printers (ACUP+) conference. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the group, which started in 1964.
The three-day conference will include educational sessions and roundtable discussions, hands-on demonstrations, a vendor exhibit hall, a shop tour at Rochester Institute of Technology, a special 60th anniversary celebration, an awards dinner, and plenty of networking opportunities.
To celebrate the association’s 60th anniversary, IPI Editor Bob Neubauer will give a special presentation on the history of ACUP, gleaned from interviews with past attendees and his own recollections. He will also offer a state-of-the-industry presentation citing data from new IPI research.
Other sessions will cover such important topics as wide-format printing and substrates; vehicle wraps; sticker production; emerging technologies; garment printing; workplace relocation; printing for the athletic department; and variable data printing.
On the final evening, the ACUP+ Awards ceremony will honor in-plants for both print quality and management expertise. Register by February 1 to take advantage of a discounted registration rate. Get more information on ACUP+ 2024 here.
