Its automatic setup ensures great flexibility and adjusts effortlessly to book block thicknesses up to 2.3˝. Its adjustable suction cover feeder is equipped with a creasing blade producing up to six scores, making winged books a reality. It is designed for in-plants with monthly volumes around 3,000 books or more.
Desktop Perfect Binder
Duplo's DB-250 desktop perfect binder offers a cost-effective method of producing professionally-bound books and manuals in a limited space. With speeds up to 200 books per hour, the DB-250 performs both perfect binding and padding. It is designed for short runs and features fast, easy setup and changeover. With the automated performance and other features typically reserved for more expensive machines, the DB-250 provides centrally located controls for single-operator efficiency. Electronic operation and a clearly marked LED display ensure more precise settings, while a quick push of a button converts the machine for padding jobs.
Makeready Minimized
The sophisticated technology and professional range of functions on Heidelberg's Eurobind 500 enable problem-free perfect binding. Models run at 500 cycles per hour and feature adjustable milling depths between 0 and 3 mm (0.12˝) for optimum spine preparation. Makeready times have been minimized when changing format sizes for maximum flexibility when binding jobs up to 5,000 copies. All functions are controlled from a central console.
Quick Setup and Changeover
The AmigoPlus, from Muller Martini, has the quick setup and changeover times required in the short- and medium-run markets. With a variable speed ranging from 300 to 1,500 books per hour, the binder can handle books from 1⁄8˝ to 19⁄16˝ in thickness. Its menu-guided control system with display allows operating mode selection, timer programming for glue pot preheating and monitoring of the preset temperature in the glue pots. It also controls the cover feeder and the limit and emergency stop switches as it continuously displays production data such as speed and book count.
Fast and Maintenance-free
