The AmigoPlus, from Muller Martini, has the quick setup and changeover times required in the short- and medium-run markets. With a variable speed ranging from 300 to 1,500 books per hour, the binder can handle books from 1⁄8˝ to 19⁄16˝ in thickness. Its menu-guided control system with display allows operating mode selection, timer programming for glue pot preheating and monitoring of the preset temperature in the glue pots. It also controls the cover feeder and the limit and emergency stop switches as it continuously displays production data such as speed and book count.
