A First for Penn State
James Lukens-Gable, art director and graphic designer for Penn State University’s Multimedia and Print Center, is now an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in InDesign CC.
The 22-year PSU veteran, shown here accepting his certification from Manager Theresa Roby, is the first Penn State employee to become a certified expert in any program in the Adobe suite of software and is only the seventh ACE in Pennsylvania to be certified in InDesign. Lukens-Gable passed a 70-minute proctored exam that comprised 50 questions covering topics like document layout, managing graphics, understanding color, building interactive documents and preparing documents for final output.
In 2001, Lukens-Gable received the Outstanding Service Award from Penn State Auxiliary and Business Services.
