On Monday, the fourth annual Inkjet Summit will begin at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Started by IPG’s parent company NAPCO Media, the conference will include more than a dozen in-plants this year.
Among the in-plants that will be looking into the possibilities of production inkjet are Brigham Young University, the Cincinnati Insurance Co., the Church of Scientology International, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, Houston Independent School District, Mayo Clinic, Progressive Insurance, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, the Christian Broadcasting Network, University of Michigan, University of Virginia, University of North Texas and Urban Lending Solutions.
The conference will start off on Monday evening with a keynote by Conference Chair Marco Boer, VP of IT Strategies, titled "Inkjet Technology Options: Making Sense of What to Buy and When to Buy It." A second keynote by Jamie Huff, of Progressive Impressions International (pii), will detail Progressive's successful implementation of inkjet technology, including why pii made the investment and how it re-positioned its business in the eyes of the customer to be viewed as more than a printer.
